EndNote: What happens when sync expires?

“Warning: You are about to sync or share a library that is different from the last library you synced. This will merge libraries” (EndNote 20). Open EndNote >click on Edit>Preferences>Sync. Disable automatic syncing and then restart EndNote. Make sure the Trash is empty both in EndNote.
